Deep in the heart of Culver City, just past the pasture (Veterans Park), and out on the back forty (Overland Avenue), lies a little spot that keeps the local cowboys, cowgirls, and miners fed, with some good ol’ fashioned, rib-stickin’, hot & tasty chili. Tubs Fine Chili & Fancy Fixin’s, according to their website, was born in the gold rush country of the Sierra Nevada foothills in a little town called Placerville. Tub’s continues the 1849 tradition of feeding hungry gold miners seeking a hot & tasty meal at a fair price.
Be hungry when you go. They weren’t kidding when they said “rib-stickin’” It was delicious.
